The front will move from the southwest coast across the state, with the strongest winds and heaviest rain concentrated near the coast and adjacent inland areas. Temperatures could fall by 8–12°C behind the front, while pre-frontal north-west winds may gust over 90 km/h. Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely, especially in the south-west and along the Great Southern region. The front will weaken as it pushes farther inland, but parts of the Goldfields and interior can still expect a noticeable cool change and gusty conditions.

Behind the front, a cooler south-westerly airflow will settle in for a day or two, with clearing skies but persistent fresh winds. A high-pressure ridge will then build from the west, stabilising conditions and allowing temperatures to recover slowly.
